Steph is a dedicated counsellor with a neuroscience background and 10 years of teaching experience. Steph possesses a wealth of knowledge in the field. Her expertise extends to a diverse range of subjects, including psychological theories, mental health issues, behaviours, and strategies for emotional regulation.
Steph's approach to counselling is client-centred and recognises the importance of creating a safe space for clients to be themselves and explore their concerns and emotions at a pace that suits them. Together you can work with Steph to develop a kete of resources to help you in your parenthood journey.
In addition to her professional pursuits, Steph is a loving mother of two children, aged 9 months and 3 years old. Her personal journey to parenthood has been marked by various complications, including a miscarriage. These experiences have shaped Steph's deep desire to provide support to others on their own paths to parenthood.
Stephanie is the co-founder of Kōwhai Therapeutic Services and works alongside Sam Dudek.
Rate: $150 per session for individuals, $200 per session for couples
Available: Newlands, Wellington. Online and phone sessions also available.
