Counsellors

Counselling involves talking through your problems in an open and non-judgemental environment. Counsellors explore different strategies for dealing with difficult situations that can help you to find clarity and meaning in your experiences. Our counsellor partners are all qualified and highly experienced perinatal professionals in private practice.

Psychologists

Psychologists work with individuals and families/whānau, providing assessments, therapy and other interventions to assist people to live life well. A psychologist treats people by providing psychological therapies such as cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), mindfulness, interpersonal therapy and family therapy.

Art Therapists

Arts Therapy is a form of psychotherapy that utilises creative processes as its primary mode of expression and communication. Similar to talk therapy, Arts therapy can offer a safe space to assess and treat psychological and emotional issues to make sense of what is happening for you and create meaningful change.

You don’t have to be ‘arty’ - Arts Therapy is for anyone and everyone.

 

Jody Burrell
